Born in Casablanca (Morocco), Asmaa Benslimane holds a Master degree in Global Purchasing and Logistics and a diploma in Finance and Accounting from the Higher Institute of Commerce and Management (ISCAE) in Casablanca.
She also holds an NLP Master Practitioner Certificate from NLP society (USA) and an International Trade Diploma from the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in addition to many other certificates in various fields.
Asmaa has a great experience in the field of Port Operations through the various positions she has held in Casablanca Port before joining Mr. Aziz Rabbah’s Cabinet, Minister of Infrastructure, Transport and logistics as Advisor in charge of public / private partnership and Cooperation.
Asmaa is the first Moroccan to join Junior Chamber International ‘s World Board since Morocco joined this organization in 1957 when she was elected International Vice - President assigned to Burkina Faso, Mali, Senegal, Gambia, Guinea, Comoros, Madagascar and Botswana in 2013.
She is the founding President of the Moroccan branch of Women’s International Shipping and Trading Association (WISTA) and Bébés Du Maroc Association and she has been nominated also in 2016 as WIMA AFRICA Vice president in charge of Arabic Countries.
Asmaa is the first Moroccan woman graduate from JCI Leadership Academy in Tsukuba (Japan) in 2010, the first Moroccan woman nominated as Senator by JCI Morocco, and also the first Moroccan woman named New Leader by the Crans Montana Forum. She was nominated in 2011 by USAID among the best 50 young people who are serving Morocco (chabab 4 Change program). She was the winner of the 1st prize "Impact Of One Campaign" at 2010 World Congress in Osaka, Nominated as JCI Morocco Best National President and Ambassador in 2011.
She speaks fluently Arabic, French and English.
